The world is in flames and one of the areas where greenhouse gas emissions are still increasing is transport. Cars not only pollute our air but also take away important space from people in cities - we fight for cycle paths and soft mobility, community projects, climate trees and shading, parks, meadows and playgrounds and sports fields.
We want less particulate matter, less nitrogen oxide, less CO2 and less noise,
but more space for people, more green spaces and more safety for us and our children.
We want a socially just and ecologically sustainable mobility system by 2030,
in which the negative effects of transport on health, environment and climate are reduced to a minimum.
We therefore call for a clear prioritization of transport policy in Graz:
1. foot and bicycle traffic
2. public transport
3. motorized individual traffic
